A Note from Pastor Sullivan about the upcoming Teaching series:

Parents,
Thank you for letting your child be a part of Youth Culture! We had a great night last Sunday at our special event the "YOSCARS" which was all about reflection on what God has done, gratitude for what He has blessed us with, and celebrating students setting a Godly example. I would like to give each of you a heads up about this upcoming teaching series that will begin on Sunday (November 24th). This teaching series is called "POSTED UP" and will be challenging students to "keep their guard up when they pull their phones out." We will be studying Proverbs 4:25, Matthew 5:27-28, and Proverbs 7 as we consider the importance of staying on guard when utilizing any screen in their life. (Phones, computers, tablets and tvs) This will be a very direct topic as we discuss guarding your eyes this Sunday. I will be teaching about Lust, what Jesus tells us about it, why it is wrong, how destructive it can be and how we can keep our guard up against the things that tempt our eyes. It is never my desire to catch you, the parents, off guard in any way and I believe that you having a heads up about this will allow you and your child to combat these temptations together. This will be a very challenging and relevant series of teachings from God's Word and I hope your student is able to be there for each night of the series.
